Note 1
“Physical melting dispersion method” refers to a technology, which allows thermo-plastic polymer particles to be fine-grained by mixing thermo-plastic polymer particles with water-soluble polymer particles and heating and melting them. The particles are perfectly spherical in shape, and their sizes are easily controllable. Also, this method allows various thermo-plastic polymer particles to be produced and pounded together by using conjugates, opening up new possibilities for a much wider range of applications.

“Powder laminate molding” refers to a technology generally called “rapid prototyping,” which enables prototypes to be directly manufactured based on three-dimensional CAD data during development phases of automobiles, home electronics etc.
